First there was Turmeric Milk and then Coffee Elevated, now a crazy beautiful merger of the two. And not to mention, Turmeric Tea, then Turmeric Porridge, then Turmeric Milkshake, then the Golden Savory Loaf, then about 100 more recipes including turmeric as the star ingredient, BUT I have yet to share with you the exact way I transform the NS famous Turmeric Milk recipe into a…latte. A frothy, creamy, ridiculously good Turmeric Milk Latte. Here we go friends, it’s a good one!

Turmeric, turmeric, turmeric.
If you’re new to Nutrition Stripped or have somehow missed out on my love of turmeric and why I think everyone should include it in their lifestyle to fight inflammation– then I highly recommend reading up on this blog post, this one, oh and this one too. There are a couple exceptions to the rule when it comes to those who shouldn’t use turmeric in this way (those of you on specific medications, just check with your doctor), but for the majority of us you’re good to go! We all encounter inflammation or inflammation producing activities in our life whether it’s from the environment, stress, or even exercising; we can all use a little inflammation fighting elixir and this one combines the best aspects of the Coffee Elevated with the classic Turmeric Milk.
MCT oil is the main ingredient that helps this become super creamy, frothy, and adds heaps of nutritional benefits. A couple answers to questions I’m anticipating with this one: 1) Do I need MCT oil? Yes I highly recommend using MCT oil to get the best nutrition and culinary benefits out of this recipe, 2) Isn’t this too much fat? No, don’t be afraid of the fat. Fat helps us burn fat and the type of fat in MCT oil is medium chain triglycerides (read more up on these here), and 3) does it taste good? Yes, it tastes amazing!
